Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared results for Civil Services Exam (CSE) 2019 on Wednesday afternoon. UPSC conducts Civil Services Exam every year which is a 3 tier process (Prelims, Mains & Personal Interview). UPSC is considered as one of the toughest exams in India with students appearing from all over India.
UPSC prelims exams in usually conducted in June While Mains in September. Interview is conducted in February to April; Because of corona pandemic and its lockdown effect interview was delayed and later conducted till last July and results were soon declared on the 4th August.
Congratulation messages flooded all over social media with Pradeep Singh from haryana securing AIR 1 in the most prestigious exam of nation. Jatin Kishore secured 2nd position while Prathiba verma secured 3rd position overall and topper among girls.
NITians were not far behind and I AM AN NITIAN Facebook & Instagram page were flooded with NITians clearing UPSC exam. Meritorious alumni from MNNIT have once again made the name of the institution a place in the top 50. The update which we have till now, 4 alumni have cleared UPSC exams with 2 securing in Top 50.
Ajay Jain, an alumnus of MNNIT Allahabad 2014 batch secured AIR 12 in UPSC 2019. He hails from Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan. He secured AIR 12 in his 5th attempt. He has previously cleared UPSC exams thrice. He was posted as IRS in 2017 and upgraded to IPS in 2019. He continued his preparation and finally, his effort has paid off to get him an IAS post.
Mayank Mittal, 2015 MNNIT Allahabad graduate from Electronics and Communication Engineering secured AIR 29th in UPSC CSE 2019. Mayank is a rare talent to find. He secured AIR 1 in Indian Engineering Services 2017 conducted by UPSC. He then went on to prepare for Civil Services and secured AIR 105 in Civil Services exam 2018 and became IPS. He kept his preparation continue and bagged AIR 29 in 2019.
Last year Soumya Pandey and Abhilash Mishra got the fourth and fifth rank of All India respectively. After this there has been a big achievement in the account of the institute.
Shubham Agarwal alumnus of MNNIT 2016 raised MNNIT name high by securing AIR 223 in Civil Services exam 2019 While Shivam Tyagi, also an alumnus of MNNIT 2016 batch secured AIR 360 in Civil services exam 2019.
