This pandemic has made us realize that many things in our lives among are not constant; neither our lives nor the time. The future is unpredictable.
We feel sad to inform you all that the National Institute of Technology Raipur has lost two of their brightest mind in just a span of 2-week. Avinash Rathod, 4th sem BioMedical Student passed away in the morning of 31st July. He took his last breath in Mumbai. The news was shared by family mates to students, professors and others.
Avinash who originally hales from Hyderabad was suffering from lungs problem, He had water in his lungs and was suffering from this for around the last 50 days. As per the date, He had to undergo an operation on 1st August, So on 31st July he was admitted to hospital where he took his last breath.
Another incident that took place at NIT RR is of Hanumant Vijay, 6th sem student of Mechanical Engineering at NIT Raipur passed away battling with brain tumor. He was fighting with brain tumors for the last 9 months and ended up losing his life.
2020 has been a year where we saw influence on every citizen whether its the CAA NRC or pandemic. The nation is fighting one of the worst pandemics while several other cases have also erupted which are hard to face. Good to share that All NITians who tested COVID-19 positive are recovering well and most of NITians have recovered. The people who lost their lives in this pandemic are 36,500+. Assam, Bihar, and several states facing floods have resulted in heavy loss of lives, livelihood, and property
On 25th July, We lost Okling Darin, a 3rd-year student of NIT Arunachal Pradesh. He had fever and was admitted to pasighat hospital. Suddenly he became serious and on the same day evening he passed away.
On June 18, Tejavath Sandhya (18) First-year student of Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur ended her life by hanging herself.
In May We lost two young brains
Vikash Kumar, a 2nd year student of Mechanical Department of NIT Durgapur is no more with us.
He had gone to the Ganga ghat to attend the cremation ceremony of a person from his village.But suddenly,his feet slipped in the river and he fell.He started drowning and his situation became critical. When he was taken to the nearest hospital, the doctor claimed that he had already lost his breath due to drowning. This accident has made his entire family and the village in shock .All of his college mates are deeply saddened to hear this news.
IIEST Shibpur has lost 2 of it’s students in just a span of 15 days.
Debomita Gharami, took the harsh step of committing suicide due to some family issues. Now, Debdeep Metya, a second-year student of IIEST, Shibpur, died under questionable circumstances at his Midnapore home-town on Saturday.
IIEST Shibpur administration is still not responding well to the mental pressure students are facing in this tough time.
Manish Solanki, A first-year student MNNIT Allahabad)met with a road accident on 22nd March (Junta curfew evening at Barsane village in Aligarh. Boy was seriously injured and the family rushed him to Aligarh College for Treatment, where he died during treatment. Police have done post-mortem of the dead body. He was a first-year Civil Engineering student at MNNIT. He went outside to buy milk where he met with an accident.
